Expert Tax Information Notice

U.S. information-reporting duties for a marketplace that pays independent experts. Not tax advice.

1. Why we collect this

PathWork pays independent contractors. U.S. law may require Accumentum LLC to collect, verify, and report identifying information and the amounts paid — including Form 1099-K or Form 1099-NEC when IRS thresholds and classification rules apply, plus any Texas analogue.

2. What we collect

Legal name or business name; address; taxpayer identification number; date of birth if you sell as an individual; payout account identifiers; total consideration paid through PathWork in each year; number of Sessions; and the PathWork take withheld or charged.

3. How we use it

To complete IRS and state information returns, to issue payout statements, to verify identity for payouts, and to prevent fraud. We do not use tax information to market to you.

4. Your duties

Keep the information accurate. Tell us when your name, address, TIN, or business form changes. File and pay your own taxes. PathWork does not give tax advice.

5. If you do not provide it

After reminders the payment provider and Accumentum may pause new offers, withhold releases, suspend the Expert role, and report what we have, including that it is incomplete, as the law requires.

6. Retention

Tax records are kept for the period information-return rules require, typically at least seven years from the year they relate to, then deleted or anonymized.
